Thoppil Homestay Munnar

The location was superb, surrounded by greenery and peaceful sounds of nature. The hosts were cute and provided excellent hospitality. The food prepared by the host was delicious and was so nice. Having a vehicle made it convenient to explore nearby attractions.

awesome and unbelievable location for the town to the summit of lakshmi. the breakfast was savoury and plentiful, with lots of meals. we could see mountain from our window.

And thanks to its remote location it was wonderful, to a very nice ayurvedic garden. The host and very-very nice and friendly staff took care of me. Got a delicious breakfast, the food was awesome. Windows were facing mountain.

I had an exceptional stay at this lovely homestay, nestled in a lush green hillside. the hosts were warm and welcoming, treating me like family. the food was absolutely amazing, with delicious South Indian dishes that left me satisfied. the location was perfect, with easy access to nearby places like a stunning waterfall and beautiful tea plantations. the rooms were comfortable and clean, providing a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring. I even had the chance to explore their land with a variety of spices and fruits. a truly wonderful experience.

The bathroom could have used mosquito nets to prevent any unwelcome guests.

The staff is always available, I could enjoy free bikes and a continental breakfast, and there's hiking nearby. Oh, and I can't forget the joy of discovering the area.

Who doesn't love free private parking and room service, right? Just loved it.

stayed at many homestays in Munnar, but Thoppil Homestay was the best. Unbelievable location, amazing hosts, and the tastiest South Indian food. The hosts took us around their spice plantations and to a nearby river. Truly felt at home here.

the thoppil homestay in munnar was a delightful surprise. after a previous stay in munnar, i didn't expect much, but the thoppil family went above and beyond to make us feel at home. the location was serene and peaceful, the food was delicious, and the hospitality was unmatched.

Wifi didn't work.

Serene location next to a secluded waterfall and a peaceful valley with a gentle river flowing through. 🌿 The sounds of nature could be heard from the backyard, making it a wonderful experience.

Beautiful location near the jungle, kind and helpful hosts, delicious homemade meals, comfortable and clean rooms with a perfect balcony for late evenings, reliable wifi, affordable jeep transport arranged.

As trekkers and a group of friends, we loved the isolated and peaceful location of Thoppil Homestay. the proximity to the hydel power station and small river made it a perfect base for outdoor activities. the delicious breakfast and dinner served by the hosts exceeded our expectations.

The staff at the reception was always available to provide advice, just like having your own personal travel guide. I was pleasantly surprised by the free bikes offered by the homestay. It felt like having my own fleet of bicycles at my disposal! The continental breakfast provided by the homestay was simply delightful, with a wide variety of options to choose from.

Limited food variety.

The family who runs it, Manoj and Nisha, made me feel like a part of their own family. They were so warm and cute, ensuring that I had the best experience. One highlight was the tour of their spice plantation, where Manoj passionately explained the process of harvesting different spices. It was such an insightful and educational experience. The food served by Nisha was delicious and plentiful - a true culinary delight. The rooms werevery comfy and tidy, providing a peaceful and comfortable retreat. The homestay is nestled in a beautiful and quiet location, offering a serene environment to relax and unwind. The opportunity to be away from the hustle and bustle of Munnar was a welcome change. I cannot recommend Thoppil Homestay enough, it was a nice experience for me. I highly recommend this homestay to travelers seeking a peaceful and comfortable stay.
